I always envisioned heading out the door to go to work and my son looking at me longingly, wanting nothing more then me to skip work and spend the day with him. So much for that vision. As I leave for work I turn around to see my son smiling back at me, almost mocking me. Like he is making fun of me for having to go to work. I think he really knows what is going on, he knows that daddy going to work means being spoiled at grandma's and grandpa's house. I do miss him during the day but when the students come in I go into teacher mode and focus on them. I really does help me get through the day.
No pictures today just a little entry about my day. See you later, same bat time, same bat channel. And as always love the one your with.

I forgot to comment on the "I Love My Aunt" bib in the previous pictures. Thanks!

if this hasnt happened, then you are blessed.... just wait for the day that he doesnt want you to leave and then try to....
Just FYI - as hard as it was to leave that sweet little boy that loves you more than anything, you are loved tremendously by the students and families at Kittrell. You have touched many lives and many more will be effected by you in years to come. Keep up the great work as an educator to your son and your students. It's a joy to watch Micah grow. Thanks.
Heather
Wait another couple of years, he'll be following you to the door crying for you to stay home with him. I'm watching that happen every day now. For now, he'll enjoy the spoiling! :)
I'm glad your first day with the kids went so well! Oh, and I love the blog man! ; ) Emmalee says hi. See you this weekend!
Mitch
Oh Micah is already making fun of you, hehe. And a big HAHA for the bat channel thing. :) Miss you guys.
You do not know me at all, but I am married to a guy who has friends in your sister-in-law's Sunday school class in Nashville.
I must say that I am encouraged by reading your site when I get free time (three little ones). Your life and love for Jesus makes me count my blessings.
Can those of you on here do me a favor that I feel very selfish asking, but I have to. I know Nathan totally understands.
My husband is the pastor of a church here in KY and we lost a beloved church member this weekend in a tragic four-wheeler accident with her husband and daughter. She lived with the light of Jesus in her and our hearts are breaking, but nothing like her sweet husband of twenty years and her dear daughter who is 12 and is choosing not to deal with things but ignore it right now.
Nathan, you alone know how to pray for this husband...Mike and his daughter Alli. I so appreciate your prayers and I apologize if I offend anyone for asking. Your strength in Christ is so amazing and SUCH a testimony to my life.
Praying for you as well,
your friend in Christ,
Ginger
